- Assessment - Specialized testing in order to determine areas of need for your child.
- Design - Building an appropriate action plan that will meet your child's needs. The action plan may serve as a starting point for negotiating an IEP or IFSP with a school district.
- Consultation - As a part of developing a comprehensive plan for your child, we will target specific approaches, strategies, and techniques that will maximize known resources available to your family, as well as explore unknown resources.
- Meeting Facilitation - Attending IFSP/IEP meetings with parents in order to help secure the best plan for your child.
- Communication - Coordinating with team members about the specific strategies and interventions entailed by the action plan (or IFSP/IEP). This may include establishing a secure and personalized website for your child that all team members can use to update each other, track progress on goals, discuss important information and transitions, and communicate with parents.
- Reading Intervention - Incomplete acquisition of reading is often the source of trouble for children who are struggling in school. I can implement a program that will help get reading going in a way that works.
- Training/Support - Provide access to research, conferences, training opportunities, and support networks specific to your child's needs.
